I love the smell of coffee, the taste of liquorice, and the feeling of grass on bare feet. ( by weissewiese)
I love the smell of wood fires on a cold night in Autumn, the taste of the very first cup of coffee in the morning, and the feeling of slipping into my bed after a long day at work.
And you?
Do not be people without minds of your own, saying that if others treat you well...
– [Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as reported in Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 1325]
The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, said: “Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having...

A True Muslim Leader →
Once Umar (Radhiyallaho Anho), during his caliphate, was going on his usual rounds towards Harrah (a suburb of Madinah) with his slave Aslam, when he saw a distant fire in the desert. A deep wound that we are all born with. And as we grew, so did the agony of that wound; it grew deeper and deeper. But as time went on, we moved further and further away from the antidote, already in our fitrah (nature): to be near...

"An artist is always alone - if he is an artist....
this is so true. give me something to draw or paint and I can stay by myself busy for hours. and I have to get it done during the time ‘cause I hate drawing/painting something and not completing it.. and i’m not calling myself an “artist” bc i’m just a student/beginner but i like his wording.

I don’t understand how people call themselves Muslims when they pray maybe once or twice a week. Islam means submission. by saying you are a Muslim, you submit to Allah swt, FIVE times a day as he has commanded us to and this is one main thing that really differentiates us from the other Abrahamic religions.
